Default chinch bugs? (lawncare question)

who does one kill them in st. Augustine?
and how do you get the grass to grow back?

Thanks,

I doubt you have chinch bugs this summer unless you haven't had any of
the rain we've gotten every day for the last few weeks. What is more
likely is brown patch. Do a search on both of these pests and see what
it looks like. St. Augustine spreads from stolons, so only unless you
want immediate grass, just keep it watered properly and it will fill
back in.
