Default Wind

Sunday, took the seedlings out of the planter to the garden that I prepared
over the last 2 weeks. Transplanted, and did a minor watering to settle the
soil around them. Soil was already moist.
Monday, went out to the garden. All of the seedling were laying on the
ground pointing north, flattened. Stiff 20-30 mph south breeze and gusty
higher than that winds did the job.
Okay, lesson learned. Put up a wind break to the south of the garden fence.
How long should seedling be in the planter before transplanting considering
wind forces?
