Default My First Tomato Plant

Hello, I hate to ask dump questions but... growing my first tomato plant
(in big patio pot) and I think I have one almost ready to pick?? It looks
good & healthy and is almost solid orange in color... when do I pick it and
proper way to pick ?? Do I pull it off or cut it off?? Pick now and put
on windowsill or what ??? I don't know how to do this... lol

Which variety is it?

proper way to pick ?? Do I pull it off or cut it off?? Pick now and put

I pick them by twisting them until they come off, usually right away. I'd
wait until it was nice and ripe. If you have a red variety that will be when
the tomato turns red.
