He means the chipping pile, not the shredder. Peeing on machinery is
often tempting, but unlikely to improve their performance

And the very *thought* of doing it to a shredder makes even me shudder!

here, blokes have a distinct advantage as you can wee on yer shredder
from a
safe distance.

Um, I don't think so, especially if it is powered by an electric motor.
Even a belt up the golden rain from the plug/plug lead on a
petrol-driven one would be - ah - unwelcome.
