Default When to cut the grass?

I put down new turf in October and havent cut it since, now it's quite
long a good 6/7". Can i cut this now? or should i leave it a little
longer?

You'd better, or it will be completely ruined, and you'll have to
do it all over again!

Ok thanks, was only asking as the guy down the road (retired gardener)
told me not to untill March the earliest.

Well, he used to be right, but the seasons have changed now.

You can cut the grass, but leave a decent amount of growth, 2+ inches. If
you cut it too short at this time of year it will be a bit of a shock to it.
It is never good to cut grass from very long to very short, it should always
be topped.

yep you should cut that but never remove more than 1/3rd of the leaf blade.
