Dear Dr Avery

Thank you for your letter of 26 April 2005.

I am pleased you agree the RSPB does have a dilemma, but I remain
unconvinced it is one that is being addressed honestly.

For the record, I do not claim to be a conservationist or
environmentalist. I merely take the view that those who do should be
honest about it.

Yours sincerely

A Macmillan

Dr Avery didn't reply :-((

Why on earth should he?

Don't you think he might have felt he had better
things to do than reply to someone whose mind he was never going to
change, like working actively to save the birds and the planet - unlike
you.

Not when the activites the RSPB are encouraging, for financial gain,
are contributing to climate change and tries to persuade me to join
their RSPB Energy scheme that was censured for misrepresentation by
the Advertising Standards Authority.

Anyway, thank you for mentioning RSPB Energy again. If anyone wants to
sign up for this truly excellent scheme operated by Scottish & Southern
Energy, the largest renewables generator in the country, a scheme which
directly benefits the RSPB, then log on to http://www.rspbenergy.co.uk/

Not really. He tries, but gets nowhere.

It just shows that he supports organisations that are quite happy to
make false claims. Nothing unusual for Malcolm Ogilvie.

Just like you after all these years :-))

It just shows that he supports organisations that are quite happy to
make false claims. Nothing unusual for Malcolm Ogilvie.

It shows nothing of the sort. But then making false claims is nothing
unusual for you, is it?

Copycat!

Original thought is not forte :-))
