My problem here is that we have two dogs and I can't keep them off the treated areas and don't want them walking in it. Hmmmmm, bit of a problem because anything you use has to have time to work, I suppose? I mean, you wouldn't apply anything if you knew there was going to be a heavy downpour, would you? Which means the power washer..... ;-( Hang on. What about vinegar? Try it - I'm almost sure it can be used as a herbicide. He he, the dogs would love that. their bed would end up smelling like a chip shop :-) Mike www.farend.org.uk |

I'm almost sure I've read or heard of it being used that way. Somewhere I have a book on the various uses for vinegar. I'll try to find time to look tomorrow - no promises! No rush, I have finished pressure washing them now. I did discover that a soaking with washing up liquid in hot water onto dry slabs made the pressure washing much quicker. Mike www.farend.org.uk |
