Here on the Isle of Wight too!

Put some water in the new water butt to just above the taps. This latest
one, we now have 8, collects the water off the new veranda I erected over
the patio last summer. Couldn't get the butt fixed up before because we
still had some landscaping to do under the veranda where the butt had to go
:-)

In Leeds last night it rained but there wasn't enough to record in our
weather station :-( There were spots on the hard paths but it didn't wet
the soil.

No more than half an inch here last night and we could do with a LOT more.
Now it's just windy - very!

Much the same he damp and drizzly, but no volume (as yet). But I
think I should hire out my daughters to dry areas: the last rain we had
was daughter no. 3's one week of holiday, and this is daughter no. 2's
much treasured week for getting the garden sorted out ...

It will depend upon whether you are an optimist or a pesimist!

In my part of North Staffordshire nothing to write home about.
Personally I blame Charles Windsor, all his jetting about and his petrol
hungry car are damaging the environment.

Then we must have a word with him and ask him to behave.
