Default Chemical to kill grass in my rockery

It's readily available to the public in the USA. If used properly should not
pose a health hazard on small plots and gardens. May be purchased through
eBay shops but is not cheap.

I have heard something about this some time ago and I seem to recall
that it was considered carcinogenic??? I can't remember any more
about it and I think, not sure though, that it was withdrawn from
agricultural use? Perhaps you know more than me on this.
