I know thsi is a very old thread now but if anyone does want natural
fibre rope, especially Manila, then I'd be happy to help. I run The
Traditional Rope Company and I supply cut lengths of ropes. I stock
from 6mm to 36mm and supply it mail order.

You can email me as above or visit

Can you supply Hammock Lashing rope? About 6 - 8 mm diameter with a reverse
lay?

I want sufficient for two RN Hammocks.

Hi Mike

Sorry, but I have had no joy on this and no-one seems to know what to
suggest you use. Good Luck with your hunt.

Also, can I please apologise to the group for making postings that
broke the rules on advertising. I hadn't read the Charter first or
properly found out how to post replies. Thank you to the lady who
contacted me and told me of my mistake. I have removed the postings I
made and if I make any postings in the future I will stick to the
rules.

Thanks Neil. I have a 'man who can' lined up so will ask him :-) I will be
at a Trafalgar Night Dinner in Devon in October so must put it in my note
book to ask.

Shouldn't worry too much Neil, the newsgroup is used as a private messaging
board, an advertising medium and to stir up trouble and aggro, so a straight
forward plug for garden related products is a welcome break, especially if
they can be Navy linked too ;-) ;-) know what I mean?
