Default Specialist Thorny Plants ?

On Tue, 21 Aug 2007 11:01:01 +0100, "Rupert \(W.Yorkshire\)"
wrote and included this (or some of this):

To be clear I don't want a pussy like Pyracantha or Hawthorn I want
"Grow Your Own Razor Wire!!", Little Shop of Horrors.

Any specialist sites I might ask on?

Exotics that I may be able to get hold of? They would need to stand up
to the rigours of Merseyside, grow fast and vigorously

Regards Ora

Colletia armata not only does the job of razor wire it actually looks like
razor wire. I don't know how fast it grows but it really is a most viscous
plant .

Quince has some really nasty thorns.

I don't know how fast-growing it is, though.
