It's because you are posting through Gardenbanter, who "pinch" the posts from
the newsgroup uk.rec.gardening, and presumably have also changed your URL.
If you post direct onto this group with a proper newsreader, you will
probably find it a more enjoyable experience :-)

It is Acacia dealbata - it doesn't have thorns.
