Default vegetable plot soil

Hello ,My vegetable plot soil is to alkaline ,I have read that applying green sulpher powder should make it more acidic,But i don't know what quantity to apply,Also if anyone knows of any other means of making my soil more acidic
i will be most grateful for the advice
