I cant avoid watching Gardeners World, since it seems part of our
Friday evening ritual. However, last night the programme was
awful.Making raised beds using a curved design, and requiring
individual timber pieces was just ridiculous. Also the silly 30 min
tasks got sillier this week with trying to make roof gardens over
sheds and guinea pig hutchs. In the spice bed plants were thrown in at
random, with few described. The only interesting thing was the sowing of
green seed for the propagating of primroses, but since primroses seed
themselves naturally, even this was hardly worth it.
The content now is awful, and I am afraid to say that I think the
series should be pulled.

Have you written to the Beeb? *Viewer feedback is very important if you
want improvements!

Have you any evidence that the BBC takes notice of feedback? Most of the POV
programme is spent justifying what the public complain about.

I have tried to write to the Beeb in the past but with very poor
response.I would be interested to know here whether gardeners on this
Google Group agree that this programme is the worst series ever of
Gardeners World.Given that we are a nation of gardeners,I am surprised
that the media generally aren't given many column inches to the very
poor standard of this programme.

Maybe something to do with GW personalities also writing gardening articles for
the press.

Written By Rosie who is one of the most insane people to write for the
british press at the moment. She's a serial house buyer who's
virtually penniless and has frequently written about being it ad
nauseum.
