just generally left laying around anywhere. And why oh why doesn't she

clothes on floor or in laundry basket? Plate straight into dishwasher
or left on work surface? ;-)))

And the person who does the most work is the one who usually leaves the
secateurs lying around

I know better than to argue with a woman, though I do try occasionally.
It is impossible to win. Today I moaned about her not washing out the
filter coffee jug yesterday. So I had to wash it out before and after
making some coffee today. My complaint got the reply that I can start
doing all the rest of the washing up, and if I moan again she won't make
me any more coffee!

I'll go and sulk in my corner of the garden now :-( Women!

She was panicking earlier while sitting out in the garden. She is
terrified of bees and wasps and a huge "wasp" went near her. It made me
nervous too - it was massive, around 4 cm long - maybe a hornet queen?
It went around the outside of the house looking inside nooks and
crannies. I guess it was looking for somewhere to set up a nest. I tried
taking some photos of it, but they are a bit blurry - I wasn't brave
enough to get too close to it in macro mode! At one point it settled
under the eaves of the house - conveniently near the hosepipe - a quick
blast in the general region flushed it out and it continued its search
elsewhere. It looked identical to a common wasp, only much much larger.
