Fair enough to ask a question but could you not have made it gardening

E G - What plants are in your greenhouse right now ?

or even, what birds can you see in your garden now from your computer?

For me this morning has brought , Sparrows, Blackbirds, Thrush, Robins,
Starlings, I think a Wren but it moved too fast.

What birds can you see in your garden from your computer?

Chucking it down with rain and a Blackbird takes a very messy bath in the
large bird bath!! Why not? He was already wet!!

Front garden.
The collared doves that have taken the place of blackbirds perching on
my roof and the neighbour's. They are marching up and down his ridge
at the moment.

Two pied wagtail.

I /know/ there is a wren in the undergrwoth, 'cos I saw it this
morning swearing at something or other. But I can't see it now.

A green woodpecker was here earlier, pecking disconsolately at the
lawn. Two brief pecks, then a pause, then two steps left and two
brief pecks, then a shake.

Because on a day like this desks are more interesting than greenhouses and
most of the members have a very good sense of humor, so I am not going to
say sorry :-)

No reason why you should. It certainly hasn't been a gardening day
here today, nor indeed for quite a few. It's poured with rain for most
of today and a wheelbarrow I used to bring logs in a few days ago had
several inches in it when I used it for the same purpose tonight.
Water is lying on the big lawn which obviously can't soak up any more.
If it was snow we'd be unable yo get in and out of the house!

I will refrain from answering your question exactly - but will qualify it
with the plants premise.

Penstemon cuttings.
Leeks
Strawberries
Cacti
Fuchsias
X cuttings (name escapes me !)

BTW --- Puter, Hospital id pass and a glass of wine is the answer to
the OPs question.

When I didn't have a greenhouse - and I never had one until I married
Ray - I'd have had to give a plant related answer (if insisted upon in
following your criteria but answering the OP at the same time) as x
number of catalogues, desired plants lists, order forms, planting
schemes roughed out rather badly, and probably some daft idea for a
pond somewhere. All of these would have sculled around my desk for
months - maybe a year, nobody ever accused me of being 'tidy' - and
would have been supplanted entirely by what I actually did by guess and
by God in the end.

BTW --- Puter, Hospital id pass and a glass of wine is the answer to
the OPs question.

Goodness, it's to be hoped the contents of the desk don't complement
one another!! ;-)
