Default Advice please on Red Robin (Photinia)

I've just bought a weeping version of this, its got a short stem, and quite
a bit of growth. Hubby reckons its not going to grow much more in height, if
we wanted to make a standard of it (don't know too much about this) can
anyone advise? shall I just leave it on the table as a decoration or try
to make a grafted standard?
