Strange weather
The garden doesn't know if it is coming or going. The last few days have
been really cold following on from several days of "mid summer". Today I ridged up the potatoes which were around 6 inches high. I don't remember doing them this early before. I was the driest March here since 1976. Water-butts are nearly empty. Paris had the hottest day in March since around 1850. The climate is going mad. -- David in Normandy. We will get much more than we need I think. Keep earthing up those poatoes they can take it if you have soil enough to keep on top. Not the first few though, you will want to take them early? Baz |
