Default Rain, and some more

It started late last night and was raining all through the night, very hard
at times.

Trying again this afternoon but only a trickle. the sky is a picture of
rain cloud so hopefully some more soon.

I got slightly damp filling and then moving 32 barrow loads of muck onto our
plot yesterday but nothing more. Few spots today, not even enough to wet the
patio or drive the cat back inside.
The Thames has been at summer level all winter, great for the rowers but
does not bode well for us gardeners come summer.

Had had good shower here in Cheshire. We've staggered up to 11mm. Still
a long way to go to reach monthly average.
