Strange plant ID anybody?

But we're not discussing laundry, that would be OT on a gardening group. Janet Not necessarily. Our clothes line is in the garden. Doing the washing needs to be co-ordinated with mowing the lawn as the line gets in the way. We also need to temporarily remove a bird feeder as otherwise the little wonders feed and hop onto the line to c**p on the washing. Birds are on-topic here. So laundry may be on topic Cheers, Jake ======================================= Urgling from the asylum formerly known as the dry end of Swansea Bay. |

We can assume that nobody grows cotton for spinning, but it isn't beyone the bounds of possibility that someone grows their own flax for spinning. Or, for that matter, their own nettles, ditto. After all, people WERE talking about silkworms! Regards, Nick Maclaren. |

Lucky you, has it reached flowering age yet? You can sew all those handkerchiefs together to make sheets. I don't know if men's hankies were thicker in those days but any of mine become semi transparent when wet.
