The knowledge of the regular contributors to this newsgroup never ceases
to amaze me, but it is a "uk" = United Kingdom newsgroup and I suspect
there will be more expertise in skunk removal on your side of the Atlantic.

Have you tried Googling, by the way?

Except that the original post was over twelve years ago so I suspect
that the skunk in question has either died, moved on or multiplied
profusely by now.

I don't know why it was reposted in its entirety though.
