Default A Stake in a Pond

OOh Er!
I bought my neighbour a lobelia cardinalis for her garden pond - beautiful
plant with dark red-brown foliage and luminescent crimson flowers.
It grew very tall (4ft or so) and started to lean away from the prevailing
wind.

So she put in a stake to keep it upright.

Now I'm about to drain the pond down to patch the hole the stake made in in
the liner........
