Default Hyacinths

Could anyone please tell me when I should take out my hyacinths so that they
will flower at Christmas. They already have good root systems and small
white shoots. I know they will sit there until I put them in the light but
I can't recall how long it takes them to flower.
TIA

They should come out when the white shoot is the right size but like you I
don't remember how long it then takes to flower although I do it every year
lol
