Default killing moss in winter time.

Hi, we have a large patch of moss at the moment showing bright green even
though it is winter.
on the packet of 'Evergreen' it says to use between april to september.
is it worth trying to use evergreen at this time of year on the moss please?

No - the moss will just grow back.

Or any other suggestions?

Do as the packet says. I think the stuff you have also has a lawn food
in it so that the grass will grow quickly to fill the moss-free areas .
.. . and it certainly won't do that at this time of year!

You could also try improving the drainage on your lawn -
.. spike it well in the autumn
.. top dress it in the autumn
.. if desperate, lay drainage pipes!

If the weather is wet, you can't avoid moss
