thank you, Janet, yes it's my 4 veggie plots where I paln to sow

this
year's seeds that I'm concerned with. atm it's the only thing

growing!
the PSB hasn't stirred into life yet but the Rannunculus seems very
happy :-p

I must be missing something. If its in an, as yet unplanted, seedbed
why not weed it out by hand? Or is that too old fashioned?

The message

these words:

it in seed beds or rows of cuttings.

You just dig them up and transplant them to such a situation then.

not at all, but you (I/one) always end up leaving some bulbils behing
so they ust keep coming back. glyphosate is the obvious non-organic
answer as this would translocate but I'm reluctant to use it on my
food plots.

You either get them out by hand, completely, or you poison them. There is
no in between, and the former is not particularly successful.

Glyphosate is an excellent herbicide for this purpose.
