frog in my greenhouse
Victoria Clare16/4/04 10:05
snip I'm reasonably sure that bunnies are brighter than frogs, so it made me wonder if froggy would actually be able to work out which bit was the door / bottom vents and climb out where he had climbed in, given that I've had to move things round in there to spring clean it, and he looks a bit on the skinny side... If in doubt, catch him and put him outside and just a few yards from the door. If he hops back in, he's happier in there than outside! -- Sacha (remove the weeds to email me) |

frog in my greenhouse
Victoria Clare writes:
A frog has taken up residence in a corner of my greenhouse under a pile of old pots. Should I evict him, or can I keep him as a handy organic bug-killer? I find so many amphibians in my greenhouse that I sunk a deep tray in the soil underneath one of the racks, added some pondweed and a couple of pond snails, and keep it topped up with water. There's usually at least one inhabitaant during the warmer part of the year, and very little slug damage to anything... Anthony |
