Garden clearout
I'm too scared to go in there :-) If I start taking about sheds I'll be
flamed for being off-topic :-) Unless you're a troll or a spammer, we don't do flames. Even then, we tend to just KF and ignore. You'd be quite safe, but you wouldn't get many serious answers. I have actually been in there before... I can't remember why, but it *was* a "shed" question I was asking. I have to say that everyone was very friendly, although I don't think my original shed question was ever answered! (I may be being unfair - Maybe I've just blanked the whole experience from my memory :-). Maybe I'll bit the bullet and venture in there again. Thanks to the others for their suggestions. The problem with the bonfire idea is that it's quite a large shed, and we're in a smokeless zone, so I don't think the neighbours would be too keen if I burnt it. It's also a "home built" shed by the previous occupier, so I'm not sure it's good for anything else other than the tip. I'll try and find a man with a van... A. |

The Shed is the virtual refuge where Sheddi retire to retreat from the Whiskered Whide Whirled, not somewhere to go when you need to know which end of a galvanised nial to clout wiv a nammer. While many Sheddi are ferpectly culpable of clouting nialses with nammers, we may be provoked to playing with innocent inquirers as an anklebiter might do with a Barbie. Thanks to the others for their suggestions. I think you'll find that smokeless zones only apply to what you burn at the bottom of a chilbmondeleystack innit. -- Rusty Open the creaking gate to make a horrid.squeak, then lower the foobar. http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/hi-fi/ |

"Adam" wrote in message ... I've got a large, old, falling down shed in my back garden. Although not bursting with "stuff", it has got quite a bit of old junk (and lots of old wood) in it. I'm looking for someone who will take it down, and get rid of all the rubbish - I don't think there's anything which would be of use to anyone else in it, so it needs to be taken down the tip. I'm in the Bristol area. Can anyone either recommend someone, or tell me the best place to look? I don't know where to start! :-) Thanks, A. Is there by any chance a bottle of meths in the shed? an accidental fire would of course be tragic, but convenient. Afterwards you could dig the ash in and only be left with minimal stuff (metals etc) to get rid of. Steve |

Hi Adam, You might want to post this to uk.rec.sheds :~)) They might come and take it away for you for resurrection elsewhere :~) Jenny |
