Default Kiwi fruit

I am considering planting 1 male & 2 female Kiwi fruit (Chinese
gooseberries) in a very sheltered south facing spot (On South of the Isle of
Wight) supported on a wall, on a well drained mixture of sandstone and clay,
but rather short of humus. Any thoughts?
Duncan
