Default Kiwi fruit

I am considering planting 1 male & 2 female Kiwi fruit (Chinese
gooseberries) in a very sheltered south facing spot (On South of the Isle of
Wight) supported on a wall, on a well drained mixture of sandstone and clay,
but rather short of humus. Any thoughts?

Have you allowed enough space? They get big, and mustn't be pruned
in spring or summer.

I'm guessing that if you do, they die - which is what happened to mine!

I'll try to remember that. The area is big.
