Default Gladiolus question...

I planted little gladiolus bulbs and amazingly enough they have sprouted.
Some are very tiny and others are not very large. I'm looking for ideas
about what to do with them to get full blown gladiolus flowers. I know that
they probably won't bloom this year or next but what do I do in the
meantime? My thinking right now is to compost them to death then hope for
the best.

Are they species or hybrids?
