Its all about voting for Labor.

Tell me why did Bracks flush down a large chunk of our water supply straight
down the sea?

http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sto...006029,00.html

Labor always screws up the country - look at the damage Whitlam, Cain,
Kirner, Keating (the recession-maker traitor) did.

John Howard is probably going to lose the election and Rudd and Gillard will
take power - then all of Australia will be under Labor control - even the
crazy councils.

Thank goodness, I've retired and paid off my mortgage. Actually, I'm kind of
looking forward to seeing Gillard as treasurer. After a few terms of Labor
in office - I can come back and buy investment properties.

lol, fixing it more likely. Liberals chuck a party everytime and the
economy turns bad everytime. Labour takes the responsibility of fixing
the problem for the future.

Hey, that is what the voters recognise that we need to fix this nation

Lol, you've already missed the first opportunity under Howard/Costello.

The tide comes in and goes out. Both parties end up with their noses in
the feed trough.
Look at Bracks and that lovely ambassador in Italy. Talking about
setting yourself up with "dirty deeds done dirt cheap". in retirement.
Leaving all the hard stuff after being exposed for Talking to Tatts.

Agree. Next thing, the colletive voter stupidity will have descended to
blaming droughts on either party.

Yep

Well, no digging so far, but plenty of firewood stacking

The lack of forethought by greedy corporations and government has left
us with no preparation for
storing/having adequate water.
For both a scarce resource means they can charge extra. Even though they
created the situation. The drought helped them.... I never vote for
people who sell of our assets. Look at water, electricity, telephone RTA
Vicroads etc etc.... Its bleeding obvious to me but the collective thats
another thing.

What good is firewood when you want water to put out a damn fire.(grin!)

Lol. I bought mine in 1992... cheap thanks to Keating. And sold them two
years back. Should I send a donation to the Labor Party then?

In a perverse way, I'm actually looking forward to Labor getting into power.
We'll probably get an interest rate hike to 18% in no time. Then I can buy
investment properties cheaply like I did when Keating was in charge. LOL,
I'm voting Labor. I hope you do too.

You seem to forget, Im a swinging voter.
As far as those far fetched interest rates go, that happened when the
banks were allowed to set their won interest rates and they showed their
general disgust with the general public. overseas banks soon brought in
competitors and the banks soon came to their senses. You cant rip the
heart out of a country and expect them to live.
You have to bleed people slowly. In other words, for those who think
slow like you, dont kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Well I hope you took advantage of the time when Howard was Treasurer. He
still has the distinction of being the Treasurer to have the highest
interest rate at +20%. IIRC, the interest rate got to 21.9%.

Youve got to admit he got a better treasures in since, but he is a bit
callous and cynical. And he ought to work on that smile..He looks like a
croc.

I bet you didn't have the money to buy any investment properties.

Don't forget Howard has the pathetic distinction of allowing the
highest interest rates that Australians have ever suffered.

Besides that, Howard is the biggest liar that Australia has ever
known - Port Arthur, GST, Children Overboard, Iraq and WMD and
don't forget the $200,000,000 to pull his pathetic brother out
of the shit and the "FREE" Trade agreement with the USA.
Oh, did I mention WorkChoices? LOL... Slavery.
The way he licks Yankee arse is soooooo.... pathetic.

Roll on the election and Bye-Bye Johnny.

I hear he has finally got some guts and may announce it on Sunday?

The sooner the better, good riddance and **** off!
