[IBC] azalea
I have never had much success keeping azalea alive. I'm not sure how to
overwinter. I have one that I won in my club's raffle. I'm trying to keep it going through the winter (Cleveland, Ohio) by keeping it in a heated garage that stays right around 40°f. It sits about 5 feet from a west window. the light is generally diffused except for a brief period in the afternoon. I keep the soil moist. Currently it is losing bottom leaves. In the past that has spelled a general demise of the tree. Would it be ok to bring it in under lights and try to revive it? Is it too early? I'm afraid if I just continue as I am the tree will die. I would love to learn to keep these alive. I have good success with most other trees.
