[IBC] fukien tea query
hello folks
i have a fukien tea which was in fine bloom last year but is currently without leaves and covered in small, brown, furry bud-like things. is this an ex-fukien tea or is there still some hope? Sounds like aphids. A pyrethrum spray (Concern, etc.) or a soap spray (also Concern, or Safers, or home brew -- see archives) should do 'em in. Then, if it is indoors, get the tree outdoors!!!! Do not water much while the tree is leafless. Let soil dry out, then water. Jim Lewis - - Tallahassee, FL - Blessed statistics: A Demonstration -- Welcome to Hooterville! Population: 2000.
