I just put a 140 deg. bend in the trunk of a double serissa with a bending
clamp. Trunk is about 3/8 to 1/2" diameter. Tree is under lights in nursery
soil. Will go outdoors in May. How long do I have to leave the clamp on?

Iris: Like wire, you leave the clamp on until the trunk stays at
the desired angle or until you notice the clamp is causing
disfigurement of the bark, whichever comes first.
