Default [IBC] Emergency Report of a Japanese Maple

Group,

I have a Japanese Maple that wind knocked over and
knocked out of its pot. I need to do a repot of the
tree. Any suggestions for minimizing stress to the
full-foliaged beauty. It is probably 45+ years old
and was a gift from a good friend. I really DON'T
want to lose it.

Keith

Keith:

I am presuming that the root pad was damaged and/or lost soil. If so, you can thin the foliage. Also, to mitigate transplant shock, water it with a Roots solution. I would place it in indirect sunlight for the next week or so. Keep an eye on the foliage.

If you need assistance locating the product, let me know.

Cordially,
