Default leylandii spacing

Hi

I can find loads of information about leylandii spacing, but where do you measure the spacing from? from the egde of the root ball? from stem to stem?

Help please

Default leylandii spacing

Stem to stem. As with all plants, spacing refers to the distance between stems.
