What tree is this?
I have a tree in my yard that I've never seen before. It has large,
sharp thorns on the bark, pods that look like avocados (only larger) and a large white "cotton ball" bloom when the pods open. I can send a digital picture if needed. Thank you... |

Where on the planet are you and how big is your yard that you missed such an unusual tree? What do the leaves look like? You may be describing a Chorisia but that is not a hardy tree and the foliage is also distinctive. "PG1" wrote in message om... I have a tree in my yard that I've never seen before.
