... Why should Kerry apologize for doing what he felt was best at the time? Why did Hanoi Jane apologize for doing what she felt was best at the time? Because she decided it was in her best interests to do so financially, considering her movie career and future plans to be a leg-warmer model. Patriotic duty does not extend to giving aid and comfort to the enemy. Kerry points out atrocities. Nixon & Kissinger continue committing them. Who's the asshole? |

considering her movie career What movie career after she apologized in 1988, Old Gringo, that 1989 blockbuster movie? I believe she has had one more after that, and perhaps another in production to be released in 2005. ROTFLMA |

ROTFLMA Meanwhile, back in the real world, Kerry didn't apologize, and he was still elected to public office. Apparently, there are lots of voters who are able to think for themselves, rather than being sock puppets for bozos like Rush Limbaugh. |

being sock puppets for bozos like Rush
Limbaugh. Don't listen to the big man, but do watch C-Span and listen to NPR, is that OK with you? But then again, I don't have a lifelong subscription to The Guardian nor do I believe in Leninism (don't confuse that with Lennonism) and men from mars. Apparently, when confronted with facts, not fictions, only disparaging accusations become appropriate, lame, very lame. |

Now there's a good source of unbiased news.
Did you read the article and check the references and citations? I believe they include the old grey lady and the wash/po. And, what is wrong about a conservative viewpoint, must a view only be liberal to be true? I know, they only good sources are CBS, Michael Moore and Paul Begala, 100% truthful, right? |

Of course it's biased. If you want unbiased, read _US News and World Report_. Boring. A couple of thoughts that I've stolen from I-dont-remember-where that kind of sum up Bush and Kerry: 1) Bush has a plan, and Kerry has a plan to have a plan. 2) Bush was born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. Best regards, Bob P.S. John Edwards, and to a lesser extent Dick Chaney, scare me more than Kerry or Bush. President Chaney is scary; President Edwards is terrifying. |

Some people do for themselves, some expect the government to do for them cradle to grave, which side do you tend to favor? Are you of the entitlement ilk? |

Some people do for themselves, some expect the government to do for them cradle to grave, which side do you tend to favor? Are you of the entitlement ilk? Sorry. No left turns. We're discussing Kerry & Jane Fonda, not economic theory. You injected Lenin into the conversation, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with the subject. I called you on it, as was appropriate, because as you ran out of breathing room, you pulled the old "socialism" nonsense out of your hat. |
