Joanna,

You might also want to consider a small HID light system. My sister has
one that is more attractive than fluorescent bulbs and can be raised
and lowered via some sort of tension system on the cables. It was
around $200. She purchased it at a hydroponics store. Being able to
raise and lower the light when watering or misting the plants is very nice.

Congratulations on expecting a son. When my grandson comes to visit--14
months--I put every plant in a room he can't get to.
