Default SLURRPY Pump?

Hi,
I have been looking for ways to clean out the bottom of my pond, and
was given this site to check out, http://www.slurrpy-pumps.com/ and
was wondering if anyone on here has come across these pumps, and if
so do they work ?

cheers

I find the web site working just fine. Did you click on
small headers at the top of the page. That's where all
the info is.

It doesn't appear to work any different than another called The Python.
Which I've used and found algae/muck clogs it up often and one wastes a lot
of tap water and time for little results. I'll stick with my shop vac.

Go to Sears.com and click on Wet-Dry Vac, under Tools, if this URL doesn't
work:

WOW !! that's the longest url I have ever seen and it worked !
thanks Jan, now I know what you are talking about , we have similar
products here, I havn't seen one with that capacity though (16gal ) ,
but even at that I don't think it would be enough, my pond is
(approx ) 8mtrs x 4 mtrs x 1mtr deep , I have a *vax* vacuum cleaner
which doubles as a carpet cleaner, and will also pick up water spills,
it only has a 1.5 gal capacity but I tried it out just to see how
quickly it would fill up the container, well , as you can imagine ,
it took seconds !! , I once saw something mentioned on here about a (
now this could be completly wrong ) muck mop ?? a doit yourself
thingamajig , ?? am I making sense , anyway thanks again for your
help .

Ray.

But it doesn't cost anything to use their website to show a picture so I

My BIL, union carpenter, buys all his tools there for that
replacement guarantee. He tells me it only applies to hand tools,
not power tools.
Myself, I would not know, but will gladly pay double anywhere else
over and over again to not deal with Sears.

True. True. I just don't like sending anyone their way. I was very
burned by them.

snip
Welcome to the club. I haven't been in one of their "stores" in
about twenty years.

snip

I had a lawn mower serviced there. After 5 weeks they couldn't find it and
blamed the repair shop. I called their 'repair shop' and they blamed it on
the store. When they finally got it back to me, they had fixed the problem,
and broken something else. It was all warranty work, but it totaled $600.00
in repairs. More then I purchased the mower for! Then when I looked at the
invoice, they had inserted profanity as my middle name. I was shocked!
Especially when I called the store to complain and the moron on the phone,
asked me if I had written that on the invoice.

I called and wrote letters to every major exec in the company. I even got a
call back from one of them to apologize, and ensure me a gift was on the way
to make things all better. Nothing ever came, not that it matters. S**rs has
forgotten the customer service aspect of their business, and I no longer
shop there.

BV.
