Okay.......

I managed to snatch up one of the lil' ones while cleaning up the spillway today. Charlie
(Charlotte?) was definitely involved. This lil' fishy has the EXACT SAME "moustache"
Charlie had, as a baby, but the beautiful calico marbling of the fantail, Lacy. It has a
comet tail, comet fins, but the body, which was rather comet shaped, is becoming more and
more round as it grows. LOL

DeAnna --wishing they had a spay and neuter clinic for fish.

My *something* spawned...I am just not sure who! For some time now, there have been a

few
tiny fish in the spillway, evidently mercifully sucked into the filter, and away from

the
mouths of the larger predators. They look like Comets, but are colored like the fantail
goldfish.

A few days ago, I noticed some tiny, almost transparent new fry. They look suspiciously
like miniature rosy reds.

*sigh*

Time to start digging that expansion....

My Koi are still looking a bit wide in the butt, so I don't think they have
spawned yet, but we noticed yesterday...hundreds of fry. We're not sure if
it's the minnows, the Koi, the Goldies or some mix of the aforementioned
group. We'll just have to wait and see. Still no frog or toad eggs.

BV.

My koi spawned last week. I thought yours would have
spawned earlier.
