Default Oops. Lily goes plunk

I have six hardy lilys in pots. Five of them are on a shelf
surrounding the pond. Whilst removing dead pads yesterday I knocked
one of them into the 3 foot deep well in the middle of the pond.

Will the pads reach back up to the surface or should I fish it out?

My first hardy lily was dropped into about 3 feet of water after it slid
down an incline. It had leaves everywhere. In my experience, planting depths
for lillies always seem to be a bit better when planted slightly deeper then
the recommendations on the tag.

leaves will come up, but will reduce vigor of the plant. Ingrid

Do they flower well at that depth ? What species ? Kinda hard to
fertilize at 3' ?
