Default putting my pond in help me

do i have to put a vortex in line my pond is 5000 gal i have 3 x50gal
filters 1.5 hp pump i have been told the brushs will do the job

No, it doesn't have to be a vortex, nor does it need to be brushes when
there are cheaper options. See my filter on my website for one idea. ~ jan
