Hi, rose news group!
I've just moved to Portland, OR and purchased my first home... since
Portland is "Rose City," I've been putting in roses. Up until now all my gardening experience has been vegetable plots and mowing the lawn. I'm very excited to be gardening--and to be gardening roses in particular. I have some old cutting roses in my yard--I'm taking out a couple of the more leggy/dead ones and will give another one or two away. The roses I'm in the midst of adding to the yard a 2 Climbing Icebergs Climbing White Dawn Lady Jane Gray Lawrence of Arabia Jude the Obscure Except for the Icebergs, these were not at all the plants I had intended to get when I visited Heirloom Roses. But seeing the roses in person (and being able to smell Jude the Obscure) made a huge difference! --Ethan |
