Hi Cereus-validus,

It may be she/he are simply don't know that cross-posting are not

I'm Lisa Horton, and the post that started this thread was not from me.
It was a fake by a troll.

Despite Valid Cereal's insulting words, I choose to assume that he/she
is either too new to Usenet to decipher message headers, or as yet
incapable of same.

Well, she was right about one thing - the fact that you are a top
poster seems to support the idea that you might be a newbie to USENET.
Of course, I'm sure that you will come back with some bluster about
being a rebel or something...

Of course, I'm deliberately cross-posting, which is normally a no-no
as well, simply because I don't know which forum you are responding
from.

And here's one actual possible answer to the original question - fish
emulsion.

If top posting annoys you so much, David, I will continue doing so, you
prissy little fuss pot!

What a I rebelling against? What you got?

Do you use fish emulsion in your photography too, wise guy? There sure are
things much better suited to flinging!!!

Well, not a Rebel. I *do* have an Elan IIe and a Pro90 though.

Well, you certainly have the flinging down.

You're dismissed now. On your bike, Johnny.

Obviously, you're pretty clueless, so I'll let someone else explain
the phrase.

Oh, I recognized it all right. And I treated it with the respect that
it warranted.

Go peddle you brand of arrogant stupidity somewhere else.

Hey, you brought your bullshit 'round these parts. How are you going
to explain this idiocy to your dad when he asks you who's been using
his computer on the internet again?

My dad's computer? That makes no sense.

You have got to be the pippiest of pips!

You couldn't even bluff you way out of kindergarten with your lame cracks.

Dan Quayle?
Now, that's a irrelevant name from the past.

You sure are one jive hep cat, Brownie!!!

Your age is showing, old timer.
Time for you to go back to the soup kitchen for that free lunch you need so
badly.
