Yes, I remember, but I also remember the habit of writing 6 pounds
3 shillings and 6 pence as 6 3/6. Hence the query.

Now I come to think of it, why was I interested in the exact price
of a wheelbarrow in 1964? Bizarre. But that's why I asked.
