Default White fly

You know what it is like with these things - trying to stay up to date.
I was under the same illusion with regards to intercept, but then
found the thread in the online blue book. Following a recent post on
wooly aphid on plums, I checked with Bayer who advised the only edibles
approved where glasshoue toms, peppers and aubergines.
I do not know if it is a question of Intercepts approval being expanded
of the lack of awareness as to is broader use.
I had a terrible infestation of greenfly on my Streptocarpus -Cape
Primrose and they didn't take kindly to mists of spray, but a watering
of intercept gave 6 months freedome of pests, and the plants made great
progress as a result. Certainly a useful chemical to have, rather than
just a vine weevil control

Intercept certainly does the job on whiteflies (ai: Imidacloprid). However, it's a systemic and powerful active against a wide range of arthropods, so not the product for folk who wish to be more specific and in contol of their pest control activities
