Default Identification, please

Spouse bought me a ready planted hanging basket for my birthday last year,
it contained some variegated ivy, a small conifer, a primula and this:

'This' has outgrown the basket, I transplanted it to a large pot the other
day but would like to know what it is, please. I thought it might be buxus
but Spouse says not.

It's evergreen and hasn't shown any sign of flowers in the last fifteen
months.

It's not causing any problem even to our titchy caravan ;-)

TIA

Mary
