neighbours plants destroying fence
about a year ago i had to spend a lot of money on a new wooden fence since
the old one was falling to pieces. the neighbours promptly bought some ivy to grow against it and it is already forcing its way through the vertical panes and coming on to our side. in a year or two i think it will damage the fence. i have started spraying the leaves that come through with systemic weed killer, but this is not going to be a longer term answer. any suggestions on what best to do? i don't want to fall out with them, but i have mentioned the problem as i see it, but they have done nothing. thanks |

You would have placed the whole fence on your own property. However the spraying with roundup, or similar, should kill the whole plant quite quickly. Best Wishes Brian. |
