I've had no luck at all this year with mine. If I were you I'd wait until
the seed pod is ready to be removed, take out the seeds and make a load more
of Gloriosas. I planted my tuber but it came up, got some green leaves,
they turned yellow, end of story. Maybe they like it more ericacious, I
don't know.

Hi
The only thing that makes my Gloriosa flower more is by feeding them
bulb food as soon as they appear at the the beginning of the season.
Enjoy your next three buds that are coming on. I think you have them
in nice yummy soil.

Mine do that when they have been kept under extremely dry conditions,
with no food and I have also had them do this, in the first year of
planting from seed. Mostlly the latter. Feed it next year with some
bulb food.

I can see now that you're right: after a Spring that flooded the country,
the garden has been very dry. I had them in pots but didn't feed them, so
that was probably the problem.
